No, I do not mix Arlo with my client’s pets. Arlo is an amazing dog, but she is also anxious in new settings and is very dog-selective. For her wellbeing as well as the wellbeing of my clients, she stays at home with my wonderful partner, Josh. The irony of spending time away from my own dog to provide trusted pet care services for other pet guardians is not lost on me – I miss her terribly when I am away, but the reunion snuggles make it all worth it when I get home!

I only provide services from the clients home. I want your pets to be happy, comfortable, and safe. By bringing my services to you, I can ensure they receive the best possible care while you are away from home.

Relationship-based care aims to foster communication and a strengthening of the bond between the pet and person. At the end of the day, whether with my own animals or with client pets, what I want is a positive relationship. I want our walks together, adventures, cuddles, playtime and learning to be rooted in mutual respect and genuine enjoyment of the other’s company. I believe in all-inclusive care – no hidden fees, surprises, or add-on charges for things like additional dog walks during a stay. Clients will always receive a quote prior to confirming their booking, and we are able to accept payments in e-transfer or by credit card. Yes, and no. I try to be as flexible as possible for my clients, and know that sometimes life may throw you a curveball. To ensure your pets are getting the care that they need I do try to accommodate all bookings as best I can. But –  especially over the holidays and in the summer travel months my calendar tends to book quickly so be sure to request your dates in advance whenever possible!

When I am not personally available, I have a small team of pet care providers who may be able to step in to ensure your pets always have a trusted babysitter when you need to be away!

For new clients: please be mindful that the FREE “Meet & Greet” session will need to take place prior to your first service date, to ensure I have all of the information necessary to provide the best possible care your animals while you are away.

  1. All new clients will be scheduled for a FREE “Meet & Greet” session. These are a great opportunity to ask questions and to gather all the information needed to provide the best care possible for your pet.
  2. After the “Meet & Greet”, pet guardians can book services according to their needs!
  3. Receive a quote to approve prior to confirming the service booking – no surprises. 
  4. Payments are accepted by e-transfer or credit card after the service is completed. That way, you’re protected for any last-minute changes you need to make to your services – only pay for what is provided!
  5. Come home to happy pets and read your full “Summary Report” detailing all the adventures your pets were on while you were away.
